Karly J. Sokolowski, MS, LPA, PLLC
Hi, I’m Karly Sokolowski a Licensed Psychological Associate in North Carolina and a Licensed School Psychologist who helps families make sense of learning, attention, and school struggles in a clear, supportive way.
For many parents, the hardest part isn’t getting help, it’s figuring out what kind of help your child needs and how to advocate for it at school. My work focuses on answering the questions families are really asking: Why is school so hard right now? What’s getting in the way? What supports will actually help?
I provide Learning & Attention Evaluations (often called psychoeducational evaluations) that look at how your child learns and what may be impacting progress like reading, writing, math, focus, work completion, and stress related to school. I’ve spent many years working directly in public schools, completing evaluations and writing practical recommendations that support both teachers and parents. K. Sokolowski Resume
I’m based in Downtown Wilmington and support families who want clarity, direction, and next steps that feel doable, not overwhelming.
If you’re wondering what’s going on and what to do next, you’re in the right place.
SPARK was created to give families a clearer, calmer path when school starts to feel confusing, overwhelming, or stuck. When a child is struggling, academically, with attention, with motivation, or with stress, parents are often left with more questions than answers. SPARK exists to change that.

K-K-12
SPARK was designed specifically for school-aged students (Kindergarten through 12th grade), with results that translate directly to school planning and classroom support.
why spark was created
SPARK was built because families often feel overwhelmed when their child is struggling, especially when concerns like attention, learning progress, motivation, or school stress start piling up. Too many parents are left hearing vague phrases like “they’ll catch up” or “let’s wait and see,” while their child continues to work harder just to keep up.
SPARK exists to provide:
Clarity (what’s going on and why it matters)
Parent-friendly language (so you don’t need a dictionary to understand results)
School-relevant recommendations (supports that are realistic and usable)
A plan you can bring to your child’s school team with confidence
Based in Downtown Wilmington, SPARK supports K–12 students and families across North Carolina with evaluation and guidance that’s practical, respectful, and rooted in science.
